Heel-Up Foot Positioner

The AliMed Heel-Up Foot Positioner provides comprehensive pressure relief by cradling the foot and ankle while suspending the heel. Featuring foam cushioning throughout, the device protects the calf, shin, malleoli, and forefoot areas. The distal end of the calf pad is tapered to safeguard the fragile Achilles region.

Designed to promote air circulation and easy inspection, the Heel-Up incorporates a heel window. The interior is crafted from a skin-friendly, microsuede material, while the exterior boasts a low-friction nylon surface that facilitates bed mobility and allows the positioner to slide easily on bed linens, helping to maintain its proper positioning.

Durable and water-resistant, the fabric is machine-washable, ensuring the Heel-Up remains clean and hygienic. The positioner is suitable for both left and right feet.

An optional Anti-Rotation Bar, sold separately, can be inserted into a pocket on the bottom of the Heel-Up. This feature helps maintain the foot in a neutral rotation, making it an ideal choice for post-operative total hip replacement patients.

The standard size of the Heel-Up measures 4 inches wide at the heel and accommodates calf circumferences up to 18 inches in diameter. It is not intended for use or sale within the European Union.
