The CKIT1 door chime kit from Newhouse Hardware includes everything needed for a basic door chime setup. The kit comprises 1 door chime, 1 16V/10VA transformer, and 2 surface-mounted lighted push-buttons. The door chime is designed for hardwired installation and can be used with one or two doors, featuring a 2-note melody for the front door and a 1-note melody for the back door, allowing you to distinguish which door has been used.

The surface-mounted lighted push-buttons are easy and quick to install, and can be mounted on the doorframe or exterior wall of your home. The door chime measures 7-3/16 inches in width and 5 inches in height, and is white in color. The doorbell buttons measure 7/8 x 5/8 x 2 3/4 inches and are also white.

It is important to note that the included 16V/10VA transformer is not compatible with video doorbells such as RING. This kit is intended for use with the included push-buttons only.
